Samuel’s Journey – A Beacon of Hope through Humanity Foundation

At Humanity Foundation Kenya, we believe that every challenge is an opportunity for hope, and Samuel Thuo's story is a testament to this belief.

Meet Samuel Thuo: Samuel hails from Kinyogori village in Limuru Constituency. His life took a challenging turn when his older brother, who was his mentor and the one who paid for his school fees, passed away. Left helpless and heartbroken, Samuel almost gave up on his education dreams. But Humanity Foundation stepped in to become his beacon of hope.

We vowed to walk this journey with him—through his high school years and beyond. Despite the obstacles, Samuel worked hard, stayed disciplined, and kept his faith alive. In 2023, he achieved a remarkable milestone: scoring a B- in his KCSE exam.

A Bright Future Ahead: As our first KCSE candidate, Samuel has made us proud. His outstanding performance has earned him a direct entry to university, where he will pursue a course of his choice starting next year. This is a significant achievement not only for Samuel but also for Humanity Foundation’s educational wing.

But we are not done yet. As we prepare him for campus life, we are actively looking for a sponsor or donors who can help make his dream of higher education a reality. Samuel’s future is bright, and with the right support, he can continue to rise.

Samuel’s Dedication to Humanity Foundation: In the meantime, Samuel is serving as a volunteer with Humanity Foundation, giving back to the organization that has stood by him. His hard work, resilience, and fear of the Lord have shaped his path, and we couldn’t be prouder. As we grow and establish a physical office this year, Samuel will play a vital role in helping us better serve the community.
